Diederik Ingen Housz

Diederik is the founder and managing partner of Knight Capital.

He brings significant investment and operating experience and led over a dozen successful investments in the Benelux, DACH, UK and Nordics. He specializes in business-critical software that makes a real difference for the end-user, carrying a solid value proposition in the form of a high ROI.

Diederik is an experienced and creative dealmaker, focusing on the alignment of all stakeholders whilst generating strong results for his investors. His operational value-add lies in bringing companies to a higher level through a focus on expanding sales teams, increased profitability and customer success. He currently serves on the supervisory and boards of various Knight Capital portfolio companies.

Recent exits include the UK based provider of customer journey software Zephr Ltd. to US enterprise software company Zuora Inc. (NYSE:ZUO), German healthcare communication software provider Aaron GmbH to the French e-health company Doctolib SAS and Dutch lead generation platform Offerte BV to Solvari BV, a portfolio company of Vortex Capital Partners.

Before founding Knight Capital, Diederik co-founded a law firm where he specialized in advising software entrepreneurs and investors on mergers and acquisitions. He also founded a staffing company for independent directors that was later sold in a management buy-out. He started his career as a tax lawyer in Amsterdam and London for Loyens & Loeff NV.

Diederik holds a LLM from the University of Amsterdam and lives in Amsterdam with his wife and their three children.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
